Seven people are snowed in at a remote guest house in the countryside, and a murderer is on the loose. When a police officer arrives, they learn that the killer - and the next victim - are in their midst. Unable to escape or to communicate with the outside world, the landlords, their guests, and Sergeant Trotter try to prevent the murder. But as each character has something to hide, nobody knows who they can trust and who they must fear ...
